Don't be surprise, many indica dominants have hollow stems. You do not want air getting in there as it will dry out and damage the plant. Find a way to seal it up. Next time don't top her so severely!

Well, as its getting too tall, I cut the main stem off about 3 inches down from the top. You can actually see the inside of the plant.. "hollow tube". My question is, will this kill the plant? It looks like the branches are turning red, to a dark pigment. Anyone just cut off the main stalk before? Rating: 5
