Can any strains be bred together

I have acquired an alleged Alaskan thunderfuck seed and an alleged perma frost seed. I think it would be mind blowing to breed these two and have frosted Alaskan permafuck. Any thoughts??

alleged is kind of sketchy.. how did you acquire them? unless plants are bred specifically for seed.. they are usually produced when a male sneaks some pollen into a grow, and there is never any telling whether or not he was the same strain.. you may already have an alaskan permafuck seed if they came from the same place, know what I mean?

otherwise, just make one have pollen.. if it ends up being a boy, your good if the other is a girl.. if they both are girls, you can make one produce pollen.. if they are both boys, well.. save the pollen I guess and keep your eye out for some lucky ladies

I say alleged meaning that's what I was told when I purchased the buds then found seeds within. I'm guessing its from different sources. No clue

if you found seeds in your bud, then it is very likely they are mutts.. either from some less than diligent indoor growing, or from outdoor that got pollinated somehow.. It is also very likely they are hermies, because it is more likely than not that the plants doing the polinating were hermaphrodites.. because they are harder to spot than true males. It is also very likely, unless you got from a reliable source that the bud you think you have is something entirely different.. just called those names to raise appeal..

luck though, there is still a chance one turns male one turns female and they both live happily ever after

Yeah I agree. Buds were stony just not quite what I expected from the names. Thanks for input.
