Zoloft is an antidepressant SSRI and will probably not get you high. I've been on it, by Rx, for 8 months - not for "depression", but for other symptoms including digestive disorders (which have now been diagnosed as due mostly to Celiac) and Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome.
This drug takes four to eight weeks to do anything - and can often make you feel WORSE until it starts working. Don't even bother unless you plan on taking it every day. I'm going to gradually wean myself off of it as I heal myself.
