need help with ballast
ok thank you for aking the time to look at this thread.. i amgoing to be purchasing a new ballast soon and was wondering what you guys could tell me about a digital ballast that has the switchabl wattage setting from 4-1000watts... i belive this will be a nice ballast to use also i wont have to keep switch bulb size. but then it was brought to my attention that they are bad for the bulbs........ any feed back to what i herd would be great thank you

I will say first off that you would be making a great investment going with the digital ballast.. I've had 10-15 different digital ones.. There are only 3 types I would recommend.. Not gonna say here which one I found to be the best! Simply because there will be conflicts of interests As far as the lamps go... I spent hundreds on finding the type that would work with the one I use now.. 4 years and no problems with lamp or ballast! I will say that any one you choose should not have a fan or an open end on it. That should narrow it down to the 3 I would recommend.

Depends on which type lamp you purchase... I use only SunMaster and Hortilux 1000 watt. The SunMaster is the best of the 2.. The Hortilux is a back up lamp... Go figure...

im a sunmaster fan to great product, Ive had mine 5 yr and not a problem from it here's mine..

That ballast is not one you can use in the USA.. It's 185volt...

bloombright vtc6pl255 - Google Searchthey go by the name bloombright state side same voltage tho..so not sure..
