the strain is uk cheese.

i understand that removing the lower growth focuses energy to the higher flowering sites, but his plant seems to grow back bushier than when they were cut back and with the lower less productive flowerin sites still there. i will try and post a few pictures so you can see exactly what i mean. i think i may give this a try, its a tough thought knowing my ladies are gonna be going from healthy bushy girls to near anorexic ones. lol.

hes uses 1000w hps for 4 plants btw. doesnt ph or ec. no intake... just an out. uses autopots with coco.

anymore input or explanation of this method would be great.

thanks peeps.
bashmans Reviewed by bashmans on . strange technique yet amazing results? hi guys. just wondering if anybody has heard of this technique which somebody i know uses. iv never heard or read about anything like it. he calls it 'cutting back' and he does this the day before he switches lights into 12/12. after vegging the plant to around four foot high and making sure its really bushy, he cuts off i would say, atleast 90 percent of the branches and leaves. he leaves the top few inches of growth on and maybe 2-3 branches around half way and towards the bottom. its Rating: 5
