Not sure about 90 percent.. but I trim very aggressively with a good deal of success. Basically everything below the canopy comes off for me.. When I prune/trim, I add a little B-52 to the mix, which helps with the stress. They don't even slow down..

The plant in the picture is a Critical+ in a #7 container. The trellis is 38" above the cart. Obviously I veg them for a while, but everything below the canopy is unproductive so I get rid of it. Believe me, the results are good!

Farmer Rich Reviewed by Farmer Rich on . strange technique yet amazing results? hi guys. just wondering if anybody has heard of this technique which somebody i know uses. iv never heard or read about anything like it. he calls it 'cutting back' and he does this the day before he switches lights into 12/12. after vegging the plant to around four foot high and making sure its really bushy, he cuts off i would say, atleast 90 percent of the branches and leaves. he leaves the top few inches of growth on and maybe 2-3 branches around half way and towards the bottom. its Rating: 5
