Small celebration.. but prepare for the important part of the grow. Veg only takes you so far, flowering gives you what you really want. Keep at it and always ask questions on things you don't know about before you decide to test anything that is potentially dangerous to her. PMS happens to all types of females, human or plant, problem with plants is... they can't talk to tell you whats wrong, so don't piss her off haha. Enjoy the ride! Flowering is the fun part. I am assuming this is your first grow?

Well it's my "second" grow but the first time we harvested way to soon. But this time already looks WAY better (think cause this time I used Fox Farm last time... I don't even remember the name) I NEED to mess with my pH meter cause *sigh* I hate to admit it but I haven't been checking EC or pH. I will probably try to do that today I've just never used one before and I got a high tech one so I'm overwhelmed. Any tips for calibration and taking the readings?

Hmm not sure exactly what to tell you other than.. you should probably get some PH testing strips to compare with. That may help you out, they're cheap and you can get them at various hardware stores and stuff. What sort of ph testing meter did you get?

I would either go to your hydro store or ebay and pick up some calibration solution. I get the 7. Also you will want to either use that or some storage solution and pour a little into the cap of the ph pen. You dont want the probe to dry out. If the probe gets messed up your readings will be way off. I usually calibrate mine weekly if needed. Better to be overcautious then to be wrong haha

I can't remember the specifics but it's a hannah. I got the storage solution and the 4 and 7 calibration... it's just all about actually using it.
I'm nervous but hopefully I can't hurt it to much cause it LOOKS happy.
