new grow 6 x 6 rockwool cubes, blue widow
ive started a new grow after finding out that a new plant i put in was flowering has buds but also had what appeared to be a pollen sac and now my whole crop has seeds forming that i just saw. nice way to wake up today, anyway i hope i can get feedback on this entire grow. day 3. clones put into 6 x 6 cubes. cubes slightly soaked with gh 3 part even ratio 1-1-1 (ratio being grow micro-bloom) at 300 ppm most are blue widow. except the 2 to the far left in the second pic we have razzleberry and sour D. these are under a 400w MH 24 hrs

actually since i soaked the blocks in the nute solution and havent watered in the 3 days ( as suggested with RW). im going to start watering today with water only for first week. which will probably be just one more watering, especially because they are big cubes and i dont want to oversoak them . then week 2 ill be hitting them with the 300ppm if they start growing and seem to be rooting into the big cubes. question CGI, when i make my first solution, do i just use the 3 part gh (ratio1-1-1) at 300ppm or do i use cal mag right away with it( and/ or anything else???) and do you think water only is correct for first week(they do need to root since i transed from small 1" cubes to 6")

When you only give them water....it's like flushing them.... If you do giv them only water for more than a day or so, watch out for deficiencies....because they depend on every bit of nutrients you give them....
A 1:1:1 ratio is good to start with while they are just rooting.... Once in veg switch it to 3:2:1 grow:micro:bloom....
Yes use the CalMag especially if you are using RO water....
I found out (from someone who's experienced with them cubes) that you don't want to soak them....only wet them.... After you wet them....wait for them to dry out a bit and wet them again.... So be sure not to soak them cubes....and keep an eye on them....

thanx GCI ...i made my first mistake ,,,first,,,isnt that nice. cool ill use the 1-1-1 ratio. do i use full strength ( 1 tea per gal recommended)cal-mag or diluted? thanx on the soak info. i learned the hard way overwatering and soakin slabs. im definately on that !!!! i only slighly wet them when i transfer clones, even when feeding, i try to water with slight runoff and then let them dry almost completely. is that the correct method also?

day 6 looks like one is faultering. however the clones in that tray were put in a few days after the others. should i water with nutes on that one, without,,,,not at all?? this was basically an emergency move after i found the hermie tainted my crop so its possible they werent rooted all that great. also day 7 tomorrow, do i up the nutes 100ppm (per nute simple chart) or should i wait

Don't increase the ppms just yet.... Wait for them to show solid signs of new foliage.... Once the new foliage is coming out, you know the roots are settling in nicely and they can handle a bit more.... They should be ok with 300-400 ppms for now....
What you want to pay closest attention to is the new growth.... If it starts to lighten up like lime green....you'll definitely need to increase ppms....
As long as you re member what you've given them and then see how they react....it'll be easier to identify problematic signs early on....if there are any....
