Sorry, I should have came here first to Introduce my self before asking LOTS of ?'s.
Were are my manners, How the High are ya doing Ladys and Gentelmen. My name is Steve and I live in the Don't Mess With the State Of Texas (Dallas). I came looking for answers to ?'s that so far some of U seem to make fun of and laugh at. I know that it will be many many more years before this state makes Cannabis Legal in this state, and moving for me is out of the question. 12\16 I just had my 4th back surgery that was to fix problems left alone by a Dr. who is protectected by state law and did these kind of half ass, fussions in the early 90's with out dated hardware that was told by the FDA not to be used in the late 70's, but got away with it anyway because it was the Wal-Mart Corp. and AIG along with powerful politics in the mid 90's that changed the laws in this state to protect Drs like him and others to do shotty surgerys at cheep prices with no phisical thearpy and the loosing of your job. Now Im on SSI with Medicare because my case happened in 91 just before the change of the state laws. I feel through the cracks you might say, I can never sue Wal-Mart, just take the shitty work comp treatment (which means years of PAIN filled with pills) Because they deny all treatment for the back, even when I found one of the top Orthopetic Surgens in the state who went to court with me (the lower court) told them he can fix the problem the other Dr screwed up, and it need to be done now, they flat out said Nope, not going to do it. It is the Insurance co called AIG, remember them, they got 87 billion bucks from the grovernment for the bail out in 2009. See here in Texas you get hurt on the job the Company has to cover you for EVER. Now they told me to get a lawyer and take them to BIGGER court if I wanted to go any farther. My wife and I, whom I have been marred to for 25 yrs, and have had 4 children with looked at each other and said "they can bite us" we called the Dr who went to the lower court with us and said to him, lets use medicare and the insurance my wife has at her job that I am on, 2 weeks later it was aproved and I had surgery. I had to see a phycoligist because I was told it was going to be 7-8 hours long, it took him 11 hours to fix my spine. From my tail bone half way up my back to S1, it is all fussed and it is so painful. To type this letter to you good people, it has taken me over an hour because of sitting up streight hurts so much. The only meds I have right know from thr Dr who did the surgery is Hydrocodone 10\325 and I see my other pain care Dr on Monday 1\16, and that medication had no refills from the day I was released from the Hospital. As of today, day 15 with no medication, 60 tabs don't last long, Pain from a scale of 1-10, it is 18, if I sneeze or cough, if feels like someone ripping my spine from my body and yes it makes me cry so much. the Surgen, he recamends I get up and walk it off and wait till I see the other Dr if I need more medication. The last time I bought some pot I was in my early 20s, Im 47 now, I would not have a clue or even take a chance trying to buy from a stranger. I don't have one friend who smokes, I left pot smokers in the past, get caught in this state they treat you like some kind of drug lord and you end up doing hard time in prision, loosing your home, your autos, everything you own. Rick Perry said one time on TV before its legal, people will buy alot of wooden boxes first. (coffins). Now I see web sites like LegalBuds.Com and I ask you guys question,........Can someone like me in a state (TEXAS) were it is not legal to buy BUD from web sites like that and they will send it to a NON-Legal state ? Im sorry if I rambled on, im in so much pain I can't sleep, just hopping its true.

Hi Buiecase and welcome! If you look at your thread in the Medical section, I answered you in a more thorough manner. Sorry if you thought we were making fun of you. It certainly was not the intent and I did read the other replies to you, as well. If you thought we were making fun of you, then you got off light, because we can get worse!
I realize when you are in pain and taking medication it can be difficult to understand how these forums work. As, I was in a great deal of pain when I started. It seemed so friendly, I joined, jumped in, thread jacked and a host of other things. It is a newbie thing. Certainly your questions were answered in the previous thread, if you read my last post.
I have relatives in Dallas and they have no problem getting their smoke! Legal.Buds is legal but not marijuana. More of a head high and for kids. Some of those legal buds have caused sudden death by heart attack to young healthy teenagers. I would not use legalmeds for medicine, it is not the real thing.
The best suggestion I could give you is talk to someone in NM re: the laws there and set up a P.O.Box there, go get your req and once you have it, get your medicine in NM.
Did you read the other post? IN your thread? Jst in case, here it is!Hi there Buiecasa in TX, sorry I did not take the time to give you a thorough answer last night, was late and I was tired. Lets see if I can put a bit more information in here for you. And see if it all makes sense.
I can buy in AZ with my req. but someone from AZ cannot come here in CA and buy. Because that is how the State's law is written.
First, here in California, we can walk in and get our Req's and walk next door and buy. Co, N.M. and other states require you file with the state and wait for a red or some sort of card, before you can buy. Here you can get an immediate req and then if you are growing you would want to license yourself or register with your County. San Bernardino County has only recently started joining other counties in doing so. The county charges $150 (some disability discount applies, not sure of $) up for a Card that identifies you as a mmj patient. Only growers I know of do that or people that like things with their picture in their purse or engage in risky behavior and fear the police. It simply means you are pre-approved and confirmed mmj patient and you do not go to jail as they verify your req. It is generally $49 at my doc office for a req and is pretty much the norm. Then $10 to join the collective right next door.
What is nice about this is: You don't have to wait and I am a very impatient kind of person. Best of all , that particular collective has a Farmers Market every Friday and Sat. oops! Forgot to go today! Hope I remember next week, if I can get by that long.
The advantage of that is YOU can MEET the Growers! There you can buy everything you want related to Cannabis, except growing supplies, etc. Like a child in a candy store! I go on Friday or Saturday and they get competitive in their pricing, so you can get a pretty good deal. No one is fighting the competition and it is encouraged!
So, it would seem, if you want beans made in U.S.A, that may very well be your option. Unfortunately, mailing is most likely not going to happen for you, unless you have a very good friend here.
I am sympathetic with your medical issues. It is sad you've had to endure so much. I never thought you were a teenager. Your profile said little of you and you may see, I did go in and look, prior to posting.
The problem is, leaving Texas would preclude your medical care. You have serious spinal issues and your Workers' Comp will not pay medical care in another state. If you do leave, you have to return to TX for Workers Comp related claims and medical related care. AIG is not the only fucked up insurance company. They are all that way, for the most part, unless you work for the Post Office. You often spend more time in court than getting medical care. That in and of itself so sucks in so many ways.
If you have any other questions you would like to ask, specifically for California, you can check my profile or IM at Yahoo and I will try to answer what I do know? Good luck and it is my hope you are not taking a medication that makes you feel really good for a few months and then really bad. The complications from it years from now are bad. We are not allowed to mention medication here, so I cannot mention the medication. It is for inflammation and works better than Nsiads. Hope this was enough info for ya!
A long drive to Calif is pretty hard on your back. However, I know not of a closer state that you can get your req and buy the same day. They won't even let you inside a collective without verifying your req and having it and I.D. with you. I'll have to ask if you need a Calif.
Personally, I would try to establish something in N.Mexico for yourself. It is much closer and you are more likely to be able to go get your medication more frequently!
DL or ID. Would that be helpful? Again, IM if you need or go to my profile and email. :rasta: pr Personally, I would try to establish something in N.Mexico for yourself. It is much closer and you are more likely to be able to go get your medication more frequently!
