yeah thats exactly it. but i really wanna move the room, and im sure my folks wouldnt get punzl3d because of two plants. i mean, maybe if it was like ten or something, but two i think a good lawyer can help save ya...maybe even with ten, i dont think at any point id have more than ten plants going.

my folks will know...when it is prudent for them too. but the thing is this is pretty much a trial run as i am moving out soon with three other roomates. house we looked at today should offer sufficient growroom, too. has a wicked shed thing that prolly has an ac in it. rules. and if my parents know about it and allow it then they become accessories...as long as they dont know baout it, im the only one at risk i think. plus i mean, what risk? hahaha. im careful and so is tehpwn i think well be fine....

week 2..

beef is droopy as all hell but growing, and sibling runt is doing better. i also got a timer to help all this out, make the lighting way easier to deal with..

i wish shit happened quicker, or rather that i had more plants growing at one time. i wanna name some other ones.

The first grow is always the toughest.

Yes growth does seem pretty slow for a 400W MH light.

Can you post a pic of the light AND the plants?

I would like to see exactly how the lights are draping across the plants.

Make sure they are getting enough water. Runt looks like she could use a drink about right now.

we dont know if we over watered or under watered but we havent watered much so we think itll be alright, we gunna not water and see if wilting continues to increase or decrease and ackt accordingly, also the light has only been on like 14 hours a day and has been on/off at somewhat random times so i think it mightve shocked the plants a bit. they on a timer now so should see some improvement in growht in both very shortly. how tall til we should switch to 12-12 yall thinkin? im thinking when they get around 8-10 inches

If you have great ventilation and air exchange, a light and airy growing medium without a lot of soil, its very very difficult to over water a plant.

And if you do, the leaves droop.... so what.

I would rather over water than under water....without being extreme. But so much depends on your grow medium and composition. If its soil, dont over water...

Yes a psychotic light schedule will wreak havoc on young seedling. Be consistent and run 18 hours not 14. At this rate, you may want to boost the cycle to 24/0 for a few weeks to stir growth.

As for worrying about how tall they need to be prior to flowering, worry about getting them to grow.

As for the height before flower, the sign is to look for alternating stem growth on secondary growth spots. You dont need to wait for the main stem to start with alt growth, just the secondaries.

Also examine our strategy.

If you jsut want to grow some smoke to burn and say you did it yourself, flower them anytime you want.

If you want quantity, plan on longer veg cycle.

If you want premium bud, stick to the fundamentals. Be so patient, this is a process of life and death of special plants we all have a union with.
