I live in Texas, 12\16, had my fourth spine surgery in 20 years, it is a work comp case. The Dr. who did the work is one of the best in the field of fixing the screw ups from the last Dr's, that is what was done in this case. I had to deal with pain and suffering for 20 years because the insurance co would not pay for treatment (AIG) only an pain care Dr. who kept me on Butran patch's, and topiramate for 6 years. We (my spouse & I) followed all the directions to get help from him and the workers comp here in Texas (which is set up against us) all the wy to the point to when my own Insuranse Co. said get a lawer and take us to court if you want treatment (or surgery). My Question to You as I take it As you call yourself "Dr.Walter" can a pain care Dr. in a state that does not have a Law on the books Prescribe Medical Cannabis to his patient and said patient use that Perscription out of state to purchase Medical Cannabis from a State were it is legal?

1 - Doctors cannot prescribe cannabis....they can only recommend its use....

2 - Texas, for some odd reason, likes to make examples of people.... If Snoop and Willie can get busted for it, everyone else is fair game....

3 - You should probably look into moving to a state that does recognize the therapeutic use of cannabis....because Texas will probably be one of the last states to legalize cannabis in any way shape or form....

I'm no Dr Walter....but I do know that the state motto is "Don't mess with Texas"....

Come on people, I was asking a real question to a real delema, I'm 47, not 17, I do know how to grow, just tired of getting those seeds that are not what thay say they are. Spent over 250 bucks got nothing but male plants with no buds you see on videos on the net......never. I see places that say they sell Grams of Bud, like from Cali. Colo. streight from the shops....thats not against the law for me here in the land of the lone star state of red necks ( not saying im one) can buy it from them and they will ship it sto me, or am I asking as it looks like another ? that you guys are going to laugh at.

By no means are we laughing at your questions.... We are serious when we say that you will get yourself into some legal trouble if caught....but I'm sure you already knew that....

I haven't heard of any shops shipping across state lines....any legit legal ones anyway....

As for the expensive beans....it really depends on who you order from.... I personally haven't had any feminized beans turn on me....

Since you know how to grow - Find some street shwag that's full of seeds and start germinating.... Street shwag is sometimes good genetics that was improperly taken care of.... If you grow out 20 seedlings....you'll at least get one female....

Ordering cannabis through the mail is a federal offense....especially if it crosses state lines.... You're probably safer growing your own....if moving isn't an option....

Oh and we do our best to keep the youngins out of can.com....

Hi there Buiecasa in TX, sorry I did not take the time to give you a thorough answer last night, was late and I was tired. Lets see if I can put a bit more information in here for you. And see if it all makes sense.

I can buy in AZ with my req. but someone from AZ cannot come here in CA and buy. Because that is how the State's law is written.

First, here in California, we can walk in and get our Req's and walk next door and buy. Co, N.M. and other states require you file with the state and wait for a red or some sort of card, before you can buy. Here you can get an immediate req and then if you are growing you would want to license yourself or register with your County. San Bernardino County has only recently started joining other counties in doing so. The county charges $150 (some disability discount applies, not sure of $) up for a Card that identifies you as a mmj patient. Only growers I know of do that or people that like things with their picture in their purse or engage in risky behavior and fear the police. It simply means you are pre-approved and confirmed mmj patient and you do not go to jail as they verify your req. It is generally $49 at my doc office for a req and is pretty much the norm. Then $10 to join the collective right next door.

What is nice about this is: You don't have to wait and I am a very impatient kind of person. Best of all , that particular collective has a Farmers Market every Friday and Sat. oops! Forgot to go today! Hope I remember next week, if I can get by that long.

The advantage of that is YOU can MEET the Growers! There you can buy everything you want related to Cannabis, except growing supplies, etc. Like a child in a candy store! I go on Friday or Saturday and they get competitive in their pricing, so you can get a pretty good deal. No one is fighting the competition and it is encouraged!

So, it would seem, if you want beans made in U.S.A, that may very well be your option. Unfortunately, mailing is most likely not going to happen for you, unless you have a very good friend here.

I am sympathetic with your medical issues. It is sad you've had to endure so much. I never thought you were a teenager. Your profile said little of you and you may see, I did go in and look, prior to posting.

The problem is, leaving Texas would preclude your medical care. You have serious spinal issues and your Workers' Comp will not pay medical care in another state. If you do leave, you have to return to TX for Workers Comp related claims and medical related care. AIG is not the only fucked up insurance company. They are all that way, for the most part, unless you work for the Post Office. You often spend more time in court than getting medical care. That in and of itself so sucks in so many ways.

If you have any other questions you would like to ask, specifically for California, you can check my profile or IM at Yahoo and I will try to answer what I do know? Good luck and it is my hope you are not taking a medication that makes you feel really good for a few months and then really bad. The complications from it years from now are bad. We are not allowed to mention medication here, so I cannot mention the medication. It is for inflammation and works better than Nsiads. Hope this was enough info for ya!

A long drive to Calif is pretty hard on your back. However, I know not of a closer state that you can get your req and buy the same day. They won't even let you inside a collective without verifying your req and having it and I.D. with you. I'll have to ask if you need a Calif.

Personally, I would try to establish something in N.Mexico for yourself. It is much closer and you are more likely to be able to go get your medication more frequently!
DL or ID. Would that be helpful? Again, IM if you need or go to my profile and email. :rasta: pr Personally, I would try to establish something in N.Mexico for yourself. It is much closer and you are more likely to be able to go get your medication more frequently!

hello. i can relate to your dilemma. it is a very sobering point that America treats cannabis as the unspoken soft money cash crop, and injured workers or disabilities with contempt. although i have read of local doctors in illegal states certifying cannabis consumption for a patient, ...and that patient obtaining cannabis from confiscated police storage lockers, because it is illegal in the state- you are still setting yourself up for incarceration. i know the impossibility of moving. the attitude that Texas will be the last state to recognize the compassion of cannabis as a medical alternative needs adjusting. your Congress people need to hear from you, and others like you. enough people can end prohibition. legal medical cannabis has a righteous place in modern American society, and of all places Texas has the most to gain. i pray medical cannabis may one day improve the quality of your life.
