symmetrical branching occurs in plants grown from seed. Once the plant reaches sexual maturity you will notice that the branches then start to alternate. Some will even show pre flowers during this time, allowing you to sex before you flower. Most plants from clone will have alternating nodes it just indicates that the plant is mature(thats why you can see pre flowers)


The clone you have was subjected to 12/12 or some other sort of wierd lighting schedule that triggered flowering. It had to revert back to vegetative growth, restarting the plant. The plant will grow 1 bladed leaves, then three, then five, ect
Just as if you just sprouted a seedling and were watching it grow again. give it a few weeks and you wont even know it ever happened.
