LNPP Patient Support
Hello everyone. We are a nonprofit organization in New Mexico trying to become a LNPP. We have been working hard for over a year to provide patients with an organization that focuses on education, awareness, and high-quality medicine standards and testing. In our ongoing efforts to become a LNPP we are asking patients to pledge their support by filling out a Patient Pledge Form or volunteering for various opportunities with our organization. You do not have to pledge any money just a moment of your time and a promise to support our efforts. More information is located on our website thcnm.org. We appreciate any support. Thanks.

This is all nice and interesting...yet I have heard nothing official about new LNPP's being approved by the state dept. Is this just wishful thinking on thcnm.org's part, hoping that having patients pledge to a yet unauthorized LNPP will somehow help them in their paperwork process to getting licensed? Or is there something I don't know about? As far as pledging, I personally refuse to agree to anything until I know what kind of product and customer service I'm getting. Also, did some research on nettle.black...new member and the above post was their first post ever. That makes me inclined to believe my theory of them trying to get patients to "support" them so when time comes they'll be given more consideration over other potential LNPP's. Also, can't find any information about where the actual organization is or will be located in the state of NM. Thats awesome that they've conquered the first step, becoming a licensed non-profit but IMO pledging to support them whether its monetary or time based is pointless right now since as we all know...no new LNPP's while Susana Martinez is in office. Also, IMO this forum is for patients and caregivers mostly to meet and talk about the NMMCP, not for potential LNPP's to plug their business.
Edit: also under stickies....

Shadow
They do have an address listed in albq.
Who knows how this will go for them or any of us. I can't say I would support or not until I have met them and tried their products myself.

Hello shadow and all who took the time to respond. shadow we are not an unauthorized LNPP because we are not producing anything nor do we have any intentions on it unless we were approved by the DOH. We are an organization created by patients for patients that is dedicated to education and awareness of high-quality medicine and the medical cannabis program in New Mexico. We are in cooperation with Robert Davis at PeaceMMC. He has been working with us to get patients pledge their support and we have had patients pledge their support. If anyone would like to meet with Robert to learn more about us and our role in the medical cannabis program or would like to meet us in person feel free to contact us.

You might want to check out the thread "N.M. Patients". It gives information regarding a patient group/guild. There is already one in Roswell, but if you want one for the entire state and all registered patients, again, checkout the info under the other thread. Multiple groups may be good, but defeats the purpose of having a lot of info in one place.
Anyone who may be interested in applying to be a LNPP I wish all the best, but having to pay the $1000 NONREFUNDABLE application fee means that you must have everything in place before your application is submitted. A business plan is now part of the app. We need additional producers if the patient numbers continue to increase as they have over the past year. I would prefer to see more producers than to see an increase in plant numbers.
Good luck!

Thank you for your comments CFO. We apologize for any misspellings or typographical errors. We make every effort to proofread and edit any information. Since the launch of our website the reference you speak of has been updated. Cooperation means that we are collaborating with Peace to assist patients and qualified people get and maintain their license. In addition we are focused on researching and help improving medicine by testing current medicine available to patients and as patients we are researching ways to improve medicine through organic growing techniques and quality control. Our organization plans to help patients by offering educational courses helping promote general health and wellness. We are not perfect but we do appreciate any feedback and welcome any feedback as all of it helps us improve our organization.
