I have root aphids :( please help!

So I just diagnosed that my phantom nutrient lockout is actually little bastard bugs called root aphids! I have been doing research as the best way to deal with these lil buggers but would appreciate any advice on the subject! Has anyone successfully gotten rid of them w/out completely starting over with a fresh clean room? I would love to avoid that obviously...My plan since I have some longtime veggies awaiting flower is to see that round out. Drenching the soil w/ azamax and spraying w/ neem since I have a really small mite problem. Has anyone tried this method? How many times would you recommend drenching the soil? And how often? I guess I'm going to try that w/ my next generation(in 1 gal pots right now), but does anyone think that's just a waste of time and I should start w/ fresh clean clones? Does anybody know what they're life cycle is like? I can't seem o find much info on that...

well i see this post is a little old but one way to get rid of them is to flush roots and transplant to fresh soil and if you find alot of little buggers you can run the root ball under low pressure room temp water
being very gentle and use clean gloves then transplant to new soil it will have some shock but should live this method is always a last resort but hey its better then throwing it out good luck
