Well, I go to U-M (University of Michigan) and Ann Arbor is a great city. Liberal, all different types of people and interests, etc. It's really a good cultural town. BUT the fuckin campus cops at UM are bitches, and they don't enforce the famous 25 or 50$ weed ticket that Ann Arbor cops do, they fuckin enforce state law cuz they're state employees. What they really are is pathetic scumbags who couldnt crack the real police force or get educated so they spend their lives harassing the dangerous students at UM over drinking and weed, those fucks even used to bring dogs thru one of the dorms in my freshman year. You'd think someone was hiding terrorists the way they act, anyway.....

So MI state law provides for up to a year in jail and a 2000$ fine for possession, though at least if you're fortunate enough to be in the upper economic circles (i.e. someone who don't get fucked in the ass by the class and race biased drug laws), you usually get a few months probation w/ mandatory drug testing and all that bullshit. So now that you have my "preamble", here's my story.

So we were in Markley one night in March '02 (my freshman year, Markley is a dorm by the way). We were smokin in my friends' room, like we always did on the weekends. We were all having a good time, then a friend from hs came back into town cuz his college had spring break. So we invited him, and mind you he admits to having done some things that slowed him down a little earlier in hs, so when he smokes he's "not all there". So, he smoked too, then went outside with another friend of ours to have a cig. And wouldnt you know, the stupid ass campus cops, having nothing better to do as usual, come up to them cuz they look stoned, and start harassing them. My friend, the one who's slowed down a bit, got real scared and didnt know his rights and just told what room we were in, who's room, etc. So then we have these fools knocking on the door, my friend whose room it is tells us its cops, we're all getting pretty fuckin scared but dont think we'll have to let them in. Then the bastards start calling over their radio for a search warrant, so my friend just lets them in, figuring that that's better than them having a warrant that lets them search EVERY CREVICE OF THE ROOM.

So there's 2 cops, one a bitch cop who was seriously saying some bullshit about our personal lives that i was ready to get up and strangle her for. the other, this mexican dude who was sniffing my friends' weed and getting a smirk on his face, saying we shouldnt smoke dope till its legal (but if youre a cop anything's legal, so i wonder where that shit went, hmmm). Anyway i'm shaking like a muthafucka, i have a panic condition and didnt know it at the time so it was probably a panic attack. They find my pipe, my friends 2 sacks of weed, etc. They dont' bother scraping resin out of pipes so i never got in shit, but my friend got hit with 6 months of the probes, and of course it took them till 5 months after the incident to even get him in court. Just one more example of how stupid and useless, and overall waste of everyone's time and resources on both sides the War on Weed is.

As my name implies, them fools ain't stop me from doing SHIT, and I'm damn proud of it... anytime I'm driving around smokin a blunt and I pass by a campus cop, I just laugh to myself and usually say something derogatory under my breath. Fuck those pieces of shit.
