Should the color of the Cannabis determine when to remove from a Digitial Vaporizer

It's really a matter of preference. Some people prefer to stop vaporizing once the herbs have lost their "zest" and flavor. However, many people will keep on vaporizing because there is still "stuff" left in the herbs.

Should the color of the Cannabis determine when to remove from a Digitial Vaporizer I have a top of the line digitial vaporizer, and I would like to know if the small amount of cannabis, grinded in the very best grinder, when is the best time to remove the cannabis from the plexiglas container after taking many hits. When the color of the Cannabis turns dark brown, black or when the taste become harsh. I keep my temperature at 386F, because I like the taste at that level of heat.
