The browning spots in the middle area of the fan leaves leads me believe you may have a magnesium micronutrient deficency. If you could fill out the trouble shooter and give a little more information it may be easier to determine the issue. But, no, it isn't normal for a heathy plant.

Before I make a diagnosis, I would like to know what you are feeding your plant and how much. how large are your plants? what are you using as a medium? what is the wattage of your light?

I want to make sure I have all the info before I answer your question. It could be genetic or it could be a P deficiency, but without more info I cant be sure

or type out everything that would go on the form in regular format. simply put there is just too little info is what people are saying. that color of leaf should be in final stages minus the spotting. is it outdoor?

Go to my grow journal here on my blog spot.

    LED Logger

On the right of the main page you will see some links. Look for plants problems and disease.

In that they will tll you the problem and the solution. Looks like a Mg issue to me too.

It might be that there is too little magnesium or the Mg has been locked out.

Try using 1 tablespoon Epsom salts to 1 gallon of water, see how the plant reacts to the solution. Is the water very hard in your area ? This could be the problem too.

yes, that was my first thought. so i thought some more and that still could be a possibility. however we are all just guessing based on a pic. honestly all i can do is speculate. low temps and organics can make some majestic purples:jointsmile:
