I think it's good to decide ahead of time and stick to it.

I started growing with 24 hours a day for some weeks then thought I'd try the 18/6 so switched to that, and that was enough of a shock to trigger some plants into flowering. Kind of a slow flowering though, worked for me because that was enough of a sign to pick out and remove males.

I'm doing all fluorescent grow inside of a 2x4x4 box and it worked well but I didn't have enough air movement, too much humidity and had a mold problem.

I know that experience is the best teacher and I should just DO IT and learn from it. Setting up my first grow closet, 2 wide x 2 deep x 6 feet tall. CFL grow all set and almost ready to grow, but I just read something tonight that I would love some input from the experienced growers here. Has anyone here tried a 12/1 Vegetative light schedule? Or should I just stick with 24 hours a day or 18/6 for my Veg? Rating: 5
