I dont believe that a nute def would cause only a single finger on a leaf to grow. Cannabis Plant and Pest Problem Solver - Pictorial - 420 Magazine ® that is one of the better pictorials I have found.

I have had similar situations and found the issues, at least in my situation, either to be a lack of dense lighting or very late generation clones (ie. a clone of a clone of a clone etc.) In either situation I have been able to harvest decent product but it usually is light in weight.

Here is some leaves with a magnesium deficiency

I have experienced this kind of growth when I first began hydro. keep a close eye on your pH.
The twisting you see on your new growth is a dead give away that pH is a part of the problem.
fix one thing at a time and rule that out as part of the problem.
This is not a magnesium deficiency. That I am for sure about.

    Hope this helps.

Other than the fact that it could be because its a clone of a clone of a clone... ill start with the PH.. ive kept a close eye on it and it seems to be pretty steady around 5.8 - 6.0..whats a good ph?

Timed Out!... I have 12 Strians ready in March: Agent Orange, White Berry, Sour D, Sour Willy, Sour Cream, Purple Haze, Bruce Banner, Whit Siberian, Vortex, Void and Herijuana. Ill post pics later this week.

Also Ill be using a diff setup for my next cycle. Either a 6 pot setup or, I was thinking of using an Ebb and flow style setup using 10" Dia. x 4' L, PVC Tubing, with 3, 6" holes per tube for netted pots. Running 1 gph drippers on a cnstant cycle. And a 20 gal Res.. Opinions?

the clone of a clone of a clone wouldn't do that either and optimal ph in hydro is 5.8
