In desperate need of help outdoor growing!

Hey so heres the scoop guys, its my first time growing and as 6 days ago I germinated 5 seeds until i saw them crack and then planted them in miracle grow moisture control potting soil. I've yet to see any of them sprout or even reach the surface at all. I put them outside around 8 am when the sun is high enough to hit them and take them in the house around 6:30 p.m.. I was watering them twice a day but heard that once a day is much better and should get the trick done. I also heard putting serene wrap over them and it will trap the heat and moisture and make them sprout within 20-30 hours. But still nothing. What am i doing wrong? Is it too late? Also can anyone REALLY tell me how often i should be watering the plants, roughly how much water i should be giving them, and if there's anything else i can get from the gardening store to make these plants want to grow for me. Thanks Guys

fill a container, the size of the one you are growing in currently, with soil. pick it up to see how heavy it is. then water it until some water comes out the bottom of the pot. pick it up again after the water is done draining out. When its wet it will feel that heavy. When its dry it will feel as light as the soil w/o water. over time you will get the feel for it. this method works well until your containers get larger than 5 gallons.

keep them a little extra damp while they are first starting out... like every 2-3 days depending on container size.
