First Grow - Royal Queen Ice - start to harvest

Hey guys, so I just harvested my first plant of my first grow. I have 4 plants (3 Kalishnikova and 1 Royal Queen Ice). The Indica dominate Queen Ice ripened 2 days after 8 weeks. I harvested 20% amber 80% cloudy. I grew in Ocean Forest soil and used Canna complete nutrients. Flushed the final week with pure water. Grew from seed in exactly 13 weeks 2 days under 8 100w equivilent for 5 weeks veg. (including sprout) under 1000w hortilux-cooltube HPS. I dried the stems in 65 degrees with 35% humidity and small oscillating fan and they dried in 5 days! Now I am curing them in jars. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! I am currently under such said plants "seductive spell" so pardon anything that doesnt make sense haha

nice spread on your canopy:thumbsup: when curing open your jar and smell it, feel it and close it back up. this is called sweating. closed jars sweat and open jars release the moisture. mix up the bud so that they dry/cure the same. repeat process a few times or as needed. then get :stoned:

Something i learned was to make sure the humidity outside the jars is lower than inside. Otherwise it defeats the purpose. Alot of people most likely dont have to worry about that but i live down south where the humidity seems like it is always high. Just a little something to monitor.

Thanks guys for the input! I very much apprecaite it. I should be harvesting my other plants in the next week. They are just starting to swell up and get good white coatings. They responded very well to the early pruning, each have a canopy similiar to the Royal Queen, but with very thick and tall center stems.

If you look at the bottom picture, on the left side of the plant, I got a super freak bud stem. Its almost like two buds grew out of one. Its about the diameter of a bat but skinny at the bottom. Anyone know what causes that?

I would also appreciate any critisisms on anything anyone notices in the pictures that might be wrong or could be better. Thanks!

yes yes BRO really nice first GROW..

u must must feel really proud of ur first grow,, my first grow turned out really nyc too...

what weight did u get and how was the smoke..i use to smoke ounce a week sometimes more and the prices i would pay was daylight robbery... not alsways guaranteed a good smoke, thats y i started my first grow.. wow it was worth it.. the taste the smell yhe high was good it was a clean smoke..shit i would get from others was pretty fucked up mind my french, they would put sugar or sand in it, ive know people to have had glass in theirs some stuff wasnt flushed,,, anyway growing ur own is the best way to go and this shit should be legal in the UK
