You always want to pull air through your hood and blow it out of the room.

So... intake hole-hood-fan... fan pulls hot air from the intake through the hood, and blows it out of the room.

Keep in mind, If your room is really skunky with bud smell, you will want to run your hood exhaust through a carbon filter before you exhaust the air outside.
I just stick my carbon filter and my exhaust fan in the attic and pull the air from the attic, through the hoods in the room and pull the hot air back into the attic.
This keep the air leaving the hoods smelling fresh, and it keeps hoods and fans out of the grow room, leaving more room for plants.

hi bigsby. great to hear from you....
dont know if you remember us talking about which aircooled to get... well i ended up getting
the super sun aircooled 4 inch outlet with a 100mm tt fan and it works a dream.. actually its getting a bit to cold and ill prob. end up getting a fan speed controller so i can get temp up...
oh by the way i went hood fan outlet.


how are things on your side?? all good?
