I think I may have found a sub... just read the thread on subbing and purchased the necessary components. About to start practicing right now. I still have a few questions (for clarity purposes) about subbing:


- Should I bring the digital thermometer with me into the stall to make sure its still the right temp, or test it before going into the facility? I can easily stash it in a place where lab eyes wont see it.
Why not use the "stick-on" baby forehead temp strips? They are identical to the temp strips used on the sample cups by the collectors and are accurate enough to merit continued use by the collectors. Stick it on your sub container and theres one less item to carry with you into the bathroom stall. Forehead temp strips can be found at most drug stores.
- I am getting the sample from someone tonight, but wont be able to actually use it until tomorrow. Therefore, I should store it in the freezer in an airtight container until I leave for work?
Since you'll be taking the U/A tomorrow, keeping the sub chilled in the fridge (rather than the freezer) will be fine.
