I wanna grow!

Tempted because all of you bastards growning are making me jealous! Hahah sorry, gotta wash of my hate. I live with a chick who smokes and i have a whole basement that has nothing in it. There is a crappy little window but that can be covered. If i decided to start growing. Could it be done in my basment? What would i need to buy (besides seeds [where would be the best place to get seeds] and soil). I don't want a huge Yeild. I would want to yeild an ounce once in like 6 months. Anyone be able to help me out with my growing questions?! Thanks in advance.

only an ounce? a half plant would give u this. buy a light, hps or MH or bulb, like 250w and grow 5 plants. u need a fan, soil, ferts, timer, and patience.

Ok considering its your first time. I'd suggest get some floros unless you can afford otherwise and go with the HPS like everyone says. But I for one prefer getting the hang of everything the first time then if I feel like I can in fact successfully grow crop I'm gonna invest a lot into this. Seeds you can start out from the best bag of shit u buy. Make sure the seed is strongly built (doesnt crack or squish when u push down on it). Get mylar for reflection. A fan I seem to find very nesessery (spelling). And give them love

Will i need to take like over the top growing care of it or will i be able to start off just without fertilizer and expensive lights. Will i be able to grow a plant with the average conditions?

Probably yes. As long as you follow a few simple rules the plant should do fine. Mostly just get some floros (probably from home depot), and try to simulate a natural environment in your area. Which means get a fan blowing on the plants to simulate the wind. Obviously bulbs for the sun. Water. Fresh air (dont seal the damn room air tight) and if you wanna get into further detail. Get a container to hold some dry ice, drill a hole in the bottom, run a tube from the hole to circle around the plants, put tiny holes in the part of the tube thats around the plants and keep putting in dry ice. Dry ice is solidified CO2 and when it turns into a gas it tends to be heavier than normal air so have the container be elevated. Other than that normal soil and other things should be fine. Of course you won't get yields like Zandor over there but hey your learning right?

ok check this out man....first time grow...u dont want a buncha pot....pic 5 of ur best seeds you have laying around from good smoke.....or buy cheap seeds here ( Great cheap seeds ) www.klozitking.com go to home depo....menards....walmart ( ive seen them at walmart for 8 bux and some change apeace ) and get you a good Compact floresent that puts off atleast 2500 lumens perbulb....if u do this you should get atleast id say 1 per 2 plants ur wanting to grow ( just to start off with ) these can be screwed into an everyday house socket..( i use the ones that you can also get at homedepot that is kinda like a shop light fixture ( even has like a clip on it witch can com in handy ) i use 4 of these ....1 clipped to 4 buckets in my closet....low heat if any at all...cheap to get and have a light setup....my 2 cents
