pushit... I say this because there is a hole in that stem.. If there is a hole in the top you cut? Then good luck having it root. Not sayin' it's not ever done.. You just had better know what your doin' before it's done. That type of topping should be done to a more established plant.. Had he just pinched the tops at an early age then it would have been so much growth now by pinchin', instead of outright drastic topping as that. It slows the whole plants actions down.
