Hey dude. I suggest looking at bestbuy.com or something or taking a look around an electronics store. If you want to shell out a bunch of money for a really good MP3 player, I suggest the Ipod. They work really really well, can hold a lot of songs, and last for a long time. They are a very good deal. You can get a mini Ipod for a few hundred dollars less, but they don't hold as much music and its not as good quality. The Dell MP3 player is apparently pretty good, but unfortunately, I don't know how much it costs/how many songs it can hold.

For the most part, you hook your MP3 device up to your computer by way of a USB port. You know it when you see it. Typically when you buy an MP3 player, it will have directions on how/where to hook it up, and they will include software that you will need to install.

    Good luck!

For cheap and high quality I reccomend archos or creative lab - it hooks in to a usb port via cable

I used to own a MP3 player. A rio 600 or something. I bought it for 20$ and all it held was like, 10 songs. Anyways, i try to stay away from MP3's and that stuff. That stuff is to technological for me. I'm so technologically illiterate. I serf the net everyday, but other than that, i stay away from stuff like that.

get the ipod, seriously. I bought a few different cheap mp3 players (creative, samsung, and some generic one) and they were all more trouble then they are worth. Can't fuck with the pod.

I would recomend an iRiver, not many people have heard of them but they beat the iPod because they have twice the battery life, built in radio tuner, can support mp3, wma, ogg vorbis, aa3 and comes with a load of good accessories.
