That picture on the far right looks a lot like my flowers are getting but they don't have any visible tricombs yet though.

It was just some clones that I got from a dispensary, may be they were calling it bubba kush.

I got to get some new pics this is what they were looking like:

Your plant looks amazing! The White widow strain is notorious for having ridiculous amounts of resin (far right pic). It had resin at 2 weeks! My nyc diesel that I'm harvesting (the first 3 pics) took about 4-6 weeks to show some real resin so hang in there. I'll be looking forward to your future pictures!

I was wrong about tricombs though, I just wasn't looking close enough.

It's actually 3 plants, they fill up the box pretty much.

I'm curious about your first pic there, it's all bud, all the way down, did you trim all the fans off?

    Looks nice.

yes. I removed all the large fans. I know that the large fans collect light needed for photosynthesis but the theory is that they can block light getting to all the bud sites so I tried the last week with no fans on that one plant to see if I could see a difference compared to my others. Who knows. BTW your girls look great under that fluoro setup! I see plenty of trichomes. Nice work.

That first pic looks like really thick buds. I'll have to try that on one. I have a good test case because I have three pretty much identical plants.

Are you going to pick buds off in layers or just pull up the plant?

I'd like to see the progress of the harvest and methods used.

Thanks, looking really nice, I'm getting antsy waiting for harvest myself now!

Harvesting is not really my "forte" so to speak lol. I just pull the whole plant and do a rough manicure then hang em. I found that it's easier, for me, to do most of the trimming while the plant is still fresh. I fear that if I do the trimming after it dries then you lose valuable plant material (trichome heads, crystally leaves) due to the brittle nature of the dried plant, but i"m no expert and I've never had anyone show me the best way so.

On the side note of pulling the fan leaves early. I noticed that the buds were actually bigger but the other plants seem to be more resinous so it's a toss up. Bigger buds or more quality buds, I guess it depends on your motives but for me I'll take the higher quality buds so I won't be pulling the fan leaves early again. I'll post some more pics in the next few days after they dry and I do the final trim. Here in AZ they dry so quick so I'm gonna try everything I can to drag it out.
