Well I'm about 4-7 days out from harvest and it got me thinking that a lot of people debate about when the best time to harvest is. So here's my 2 cents and mind you that I am a very evidence based person so I only state research based "facts" and you have decide whats best for you.

What do we actually know:

We know that the head of the trichome is what carries the THC and some cannabinoids.
We know that amber trich's display CBD's which are a bi-product of degraded THC.
We know CBD's display MANY helpful medical properties, including but not limited to anti-inflammatory uses.
We know clear trichomes are not at full THC concentration.
We know peak THC concentration in a trichome is when it is milky in color.

So, if you're looking for a cerebral, energetic, up-lifting kind of high, which would be a good anti-depressant it is theorized that you should harvest when THC is at it's peak, when they are milky. If you're looking for more medicinal anti-inflammatory or pain reduction uses then it is also theorized that a late harvest, when they are +50% amber, should be sought after.
