But it comes with 150W HPS Bulb and Ballast for 16,000 lumens of growing power. With growing marijuana, does that cover the vegatation stage as well as the flowering? Feed back would be appeciated

Yes you can veg and flower with a HPS. Are you planning on doing a SOG or something?

That thing cost a LOT ! I was going to buy one off ebay but the price is crazy. I wonder how many plants will fit? Prolly only one. It seems to be really safe and stealth though.

Okay, cause i know that you need a certain amount of specturm for veg and lower amount for flowering. And ya i was gonna do a SOG. I suspect you could probaly fit in 8 plants in their. Dressers are pretty large.

And for veg i thought u needed 6500k of lums and for flowering you need 2700k. that was my initial question, So if i;m vegging like 4 plants under this 16,000lum hps and they start to flower.. it'l flower them? or would i need to get a dual spec light?

Mh light would be the "proper" one to use during veg but the hps will work fine. Running your lights 12 hrs on 12 hrs off will flower them if you are growing photoperiod plants. I take it you are gonna be using clones for the SOG? I think i read that dresser is around 3ft tall. Thats without your light and the pots youll be using. What im getting at is you will have very little vertical space to work with. You might be better off lsting a couple plants so you can keep them low. Thats just my 2cents

By reading this I dont really think you understand the terms with lighting. Spectrum has absoulutely nothing to do with lumens. 6500k is on the cold side of the light spectrum and has a high amount of "blue" in its spectrum. 2700k is pretty much the exact opposite. 2700k is on the warm side which is the "red" end of the spectrum. The colder u go on the spectrum the more your light will appear to be white and warm side makes it appear yellow. Lumens is a measurement of how bright the light is.

Dressers are pretty large.

"Grow Volume: 16” x 30” x 33” high".... This is a small space that will be out grown very quickly....

IMO....a small space like that would be great for veg....but not near the size of cab that should be used for flower.... Why??? Because plants double - triple - quadruple in size while in flowering mode.... And I'm sure you'll find the results of this cab to be lower than your expectations....if you did decide to get after all....

I just finished out in a converted dresser with almost the exact same measurements. The 150 is ok, but the yields kind of suck. Also, ventilation is a bitch in such a small space. You can buy all those components seperately and save a whole lot of money. I spent about $250 total on setup.

I think I'm going to just buy a $100 grow tent off of amazon and add more lights for next time.

ya i was just going to get some clones from my freinds and when they flowered i was just going to tie them down. And what did you get for your yeilds? I want to build one myself i'm just lazy lol. Plus the dresser is steathly.. Wanted to grow only like 4 plants.
