:weedpoke:Probably move this down to the Lounge! I live in Cali and certainly have considered Oregon! Why, euthanasia! That's it, one word. As you age your priorities change. I would no longer live in a non-mmj state! I like Oregon alot (one of my best friends through life lives there). I can no longer survive the snow. Now, I am looking to a very low desert!

I also like growing my weeds outside. Can no longer do it in the county I have been living in! California needs legalization for it to work here! None of our laws provided any documentation on how to set up and give patients medication. So, our dispensaries, collectives, etc are being closed.

My take on it in CA, is: They want true Care-givers and low numbers of plants. Apparently, the fathers (mothers) in Law Writing were use to the pass the joint mentality and want it kept to very low quantities. The laws are being tested in the Gov't and it is a toss-up who will win. pr

yea i have been reading on some legalizing sites that California really isnt what it is all hyped to be, Oregon has the law set you are allowed 24 ounces and 18 plants i forget how many males and females. I understand myself i love growing indoors i just feel like its well kept and just better product

both states grow some phenomenal medicine IMO. Have been pretty happy with alot of the Bend area crop i've seen this year, very well taken care of plants-not quite the upper peak of quality as was lots of last years product (their have been a couple redeeming plants though! , the PDX area greenhouses crops have (on the whole) impressed me a little less-but i have seen a couple gorgeous, very heady cuts from there, unfortunately both weren't quite suckered to my liking .... California crop as always all over the board, seen some very nice finished products coming from the emerald triangle, but nothing worth remembering yet.....aside from one cut of some indo/hydro fire.... have yet to see any Lake/Butte/Sierra/nevada herbies-but waiting in anticipation for some of those long sativas people pull down there to give me that sweet LSD reminiscent high.

But with all that said and done, i'm pretty sure 8/10 of the last crops i've considered worth buying have been from oregon this year-batches consistently are treated better at the end of the cycle (more attention to detail b/c of smaller farms perhaps?), and it feels on the exhale .....

I have traveled to many places and experienced more strains than I can count, and Oregon has my vote when it comes to medicine. And just to set it straight about Oregon's laws about plant quantity, it is 1 patient can have a maximum 6 mature plants and 18 immature plants; 1 grower can have a maximum of 4 patients for a total of 24 mature plants (gender does not matter); 1 property can have 4 growers for a total of 96 plants per property and each patient can posses a maximum of 24 ounces of dried plant material. As for indoor vs. outdoor, it depends on the grower, we have just as much if not more love, care, and attention for our outdoor crops as our indoor crops.
