hello again. so there you have it. it is very different from the eastern foothills of the Sierra Nevada, to the northwest coast, to the midwest coast, to the central valley. southeast towards Sacromental (NoCal), residents enjoy weekending in Tahoe; or gambling in Reno. Whiskeytown has a beautiful lake in the wilderness. Shasta Lake is more popular for riverboat living. the Russian River north of San Francisco, near a gay town named Guerneyville, may offer everything you crave, with tall trees, and less than an hour north of romantic San Francisco, or east to the Napa Valley. Guerneyville is about 20 miles east of the Pacific ocean, with local forests, and if i had the money... there really is so much about NoCal to enjoy, it really is about not being too sedentary wherever you land- unless you just want to sit on the porch. the hills and northern mountains offer plenty to sit and daydream about. the views are good. it is hard not to enjoy wherever you go in Northern California.
