where is the best place to retire in No Cal?
not unless you are very elite.....but who needs those losers.....we can do it....overthrow their strangle on us.........i have a lot of friends up in the boonies of cali.....you should just explore and find a nice little place.....i m also in your shoes, but i want to move to san fran or berkley....i m a hippie and i love that city....when i get the money i will be going back back to cali cali

) love the outdoors, rivers, lakes, trees. I would like to grow my own food too but will probably still be coming down for some supplies. I think there is only thing to do ... road trip. :jointsmile: I've been all over Northern Cal from Mendo and Humbolt thru Trinity and Shasta, love it all!!! think I just need some more r&d. The one place I haven't been to yet is the far northern coast between Humbolt and Oregon, I've heard that is some of the most beautiful scenery of all. bohemian grove would be a trip. :stoned: don't think they'd let me in, tho.
