    Germination/Lift Off

Well, un reading this I have a question as well.
I have a seedling that is now got its third set of leaves.
Since it was put into the dirt, it has been under a 250 watt m.h. light that stays about three feet above it. The light Shuts off for six hrs everyday, at which point I move the seedling into my clone box which has 4 t5 flourescent lights that stay about a foot and a half to two feet above my six clones, and my seedling.
My question is, did I mess anything up putting my seedling under that intense light like that? And when can I put it an the 18/6 light schedule with my other plants??
Btw esteban urs are growing nicely!

Actually it looks like they are stretching quite a bit and need light now....personally i put them directly under my t5 full strength as soon as i put them in the soil...basically i let my seed sit in water for a day then i put it in a solo cup with holes in the bottom filled with ffof....i water the shit out of them and then place a sandwich bag over the top and secure it with a rubber band and put them under my light...when they poke out of the soil i take the bag off...that's it...that easy..works almost every time...only time it has not worked for me is with autoflowers and some sativa strains that are sensitive...in this case i soak them then put them in root riot cubes until they sprout and then i transplant them to the cups...long story short..u need to get the light down on them now

    Dutch:

Ya think leaving the kids under the 4 fluro's will be sufficient enough for the first couple weeks? Will up the ante when I see that they could handle a bit more. Probably answering my own question but it would be nice to hear confirmation.

If you can get the plants in a row under the tubes?...and keep them within 1-2 inches above the top leaves.
You should be using 6500k tubes. Stretching is a problem this first week.

Well, methinks all is going well. We are now 11 days post germ & there are a few nice sized leaves showing. Again just to be clear this is a mixed bag of "feminized" seeds & unable to trace their roots. I continue to follow basic protocol visa vie 24/7 lights on & plants positioned as close to the light source w/o burning the tips as possible. Temp 77F (25c), aqua applied daily & a small amount at that (soil is dry as a bone). Please, any info that may benefit me would be greatly appreciated. Cheers my brothers/sisters in arms!
