I've used those clamp-type ones for my past 7 grows or so, and my current grow will NOT be placed into them this time 'round... I bought them at Ikea, and have always wondered if they're truly airtight enough for curing properly, since they're all I've really truly tested... My problem with them is not having complete control over how tight you can make the lid, and for that reason, I'll be getting a bunch of the regular ones this time to compare (the ones with the metal plate/rubber ring built in and separate lid). Once the bud has cured in the metal-thread type ones for a month or two, I may transfer it back to the Ikea clampers - for ease of access.... just my 2 c. Good luck!

The end of the mason jar
I have trouble at times finding jars large enough, especially when it comes to mason jars of any type; overally, I prefer amber glass jars but they are even harder to aquire, so the majority of the time I use very well cleaned gallon pickle jars sealing the lid with electrical tape (at least for final storage).
