    Roots or Mold

So I've had this cutting in a bubbler with Olivia's cloning solution for about 2 weeks now. Are these white nobs the start of some roots or is it just molding?

Apparently I didn't trim well enough and that ended up growing underneath the lid of the bubbler...

Stubborn lil thing huh? If you want, you can just pinch the little thing off. Unless you want them there, which isn't the part with the leaves the part you have in the water? If so I don't believe they will survive for to long. What set Up are you using?hoes the top growth? And do you have new roots at all yet?

Using Olivia's cloning solution. Built a custom bubbler. Pretty much the same setup as the bubbler in the sticky on this forum, just smaller scale. I went ahead and put this one in some soil to see if it does anything else. Maybe being too impatient, but I think I need to have it warmer in my "cloning area" for this to work too. I actually put the Olivia's in the bubbler itself with hopes that it would speed up the process...so much for that. It looks like I have the principals right, just need to control temp a little better next round perhaps. Had some holly cuttings in with this cutting and they are pretty much in the same predicament. Bumps, but no roots yet.

Posts 86-89 I think. This is what I used to model my bubbler. Few things I think I did wrong:
    1. Didn't shave the bottom of the cutting well enough (cabbage is evidence of that)
    2. Left the cutting too long for the bubbler (the bottom of the cutting was actually sitting in the water instead of above the water line)
    3. Didn't keep the whole setup warm enough to promote faster root growth

ya keep in mind clones can "drown" just like a full size plant (i left clones in a 12oz bottle for a week once when clone broke and just the few hours above water after they sucked it all up got them too room :P)
i have not noticed "shaving" clones helps as much as making shear you have a slant on the bottom cut,
trim the tips off of the bigger leaves
dip clone stalk in undiluted clone nuts
i dont like using anything organic in my cloner because iv noticed it causes algey to go crazy and im to lazy to bleach my whole set up that often :P but this is just a preference more than a suggestion
make shere your mesherments are right! and ph plays a big role too...
not to hot! to hot will just mess everything up i had a stalk curl up so my clone looked like a J....you ever try planting a J -_-
also less is more when cloneing....only stick to clone nute and ph (if you have to) and be gentle when misting with nutes but DO MIST!

and this is what i lend my first 2 months of haveing my cloner

for the first week a clones best friend is warmth, nute rich mist, and humidity. after that its a weaning process from roots finding their roots, to becoming airboure again. once roots have established themselves the plant will stop living off of reserves and start feeding from the medium. i gotta ask though, it looks like a sponge experiment, and im not sure how nylon interacts with cannabis. careful what ya smoke because its forever.
