Your opinion of a high yielding indoor plant?

Looking around i saw some threads on people asking about highest yielding cannabis plants. They do grow a lot more outside, but inside it is different on how you have your setup..

But i want YOUR opinion. What is the highest yielding cannabis plant?

those sativa are hard to grow inside...you have to have uber light

I like the 'white' strain hybrids...I consider 3+ quart jars of dried/cured bud per plant, an excellent yield indoors.

Indicas usually build phatter thicker buds....however strain is only part of the recipe for high yields.... You'll also need the right equipment, space, knowledge, nutrients and time to give love....

Probably New York Diesel. For all its high quality, the price is reasonable out there because it yields so well indoors and outdoors.

For me, Cheese & Bluberry Kush, SOG, (sea of green), DWC, (tub o nutes with a bubbler and a net pot) and very good lights. I use T5 and T8s for veg then you could use HPS lamps or what I like now is a very good 3W LED/diode 325W array that could do it all start to finish, just pricey. But so far very very reliable and damn do they work! They are at least twice as good as my 600W HPS. This indoor is with a paranoid 1st timer (also financer), so, no pics yet, maybe later. Hope you have great luck, and keep us all posted. Think about telling us how you do and what you used, as we all learn a lot from each other. As you can see there are a lot of folks willing to help at this site. PS I know Cheese is usually grown 'out' but it did really well as an 'Inside'.

Dutch? You think White Widow would do well under these hot LEDs?

Me too, between me and a few friends we must have tried about 15 different strains. For yields the whites have always done best, even under my CFL setup.

I am surprised to see Cheese as one of your choices for a high yielder. Strength wise It kicks ass, no doubt about that. But everyone I know who has tried growing cheese, has found it to yield about half the weight of high yield strains.

When picking a high yielder I think you also have to consider the flowering time. I can grow 3 crops of White Rhino in the same time it takes to grow 2 crops of a long flowering Sativa.

Perhaps you I misunderstood your post or perhaps you mis-stated the claim but otherwise I'm calling BS. I grow under 300w of 3w single chip LEDs and there is no way they out produce a 600w HPS. Not even close. Further you state that you are a 1st timer... so how would you know? I like my LEDs and they do produce but let's not grossly inflate their value, eh? This round I added 400w CMH. We're a few weeks in to flower and so far it is kicking LED ass. I've retired my LEDs to veg only for which they work VERY well. Also, for those considering LED, don't buy in to the longevity argument. Yes, the diodes will last forever assuming no power spikes (which will kill them), however the transformers that drive them and fans that cool them will not last 1/4 as long as the diodes... just something to consider.

If you are paranoid I hope you are using TOR and the bundled FF version that comes with it. It's a bit slower but the added piece of mind is priceless.
