Blind, one thing that you may want to consider is what chemicals the grower of the new Kush you obtained is using. Hopefully this is not the case, but a foliar pesticide may have been used before harvest.

One more reason we should overgrow the world! GROW YER OWN! Pesticide... At harvest... What a shameful thought! That was all about ill gotten gains!
