It has more to do with experience. Do you have any pals that toke? It is a bit more fun for 'trial and error.' People you really trust. More people have more sense that toke than drink and fewer are out doing stuff they shouldn't be. It is like any medication. You must get 'used' to it and see how you react to things.

:thumbsup:I have done things in my life I can't remember, but I have never done anything on marijuana I can't remember! pr(as much as I'd like to forget a few things, I can't).

That would be my guiding light for you Exo1. Experiment and see what works for you and start out slowly. It may take awhile for you to get enough to start giving you some real relief. Certainly, a Sativa is not for you and you would want Indica or Indica dominant. Hopefully, you don't have a psychological disease to complicate anything for you. I do have a niece that was diagnosed with epilepsy last year and we bake brownies alot. I would start with medibles with/or a tincture if you don't want to take cookies or brownies everywhere. Really, depends on the 'who' makes the tincture to know how strong it is for you.

You seem to be hesitating and you need to read, as much as you possibly can. You will find, that the long-term use of mmj will be better for you and healthier, no matter how you choose to medicate.

I am assuming your femur fractures required some sort of surgery and implanted devices or were too crunched to do much with? The screws, rods, etc. can be painful. Usually, shouldn't be extremely painful years past? Regardless, guess it is cold up there and a few screws and rods could be painful. Weather does factor in.

Well, for your first time, just get as toasted as you can. See how it affects you, you can't overdose on marijuana. Then let us know. By then, I am sure many others will chime in and offer some advice. You will find in the 'Vap' section a lot of good threads on it. My experience and from what I have read, the difference for one person with a Vape as opposed to another can be totally different. As, a n00b toker, you are going to have to experiment and practice. there was a thread just before yours with a Canadian Caregiver, may want to check it out. And Good Luck to You,

I do medibles, tinctures, joints, blunts, bong and any Pot I want! The only difference for me is the amount I want and stop: Or between the Sativa and Indica: Sativa is more of a brain high and Indica is a body with more calming affects. With your conditions, you definitely want an Indica. I like the calming affect and how things don't bother me so much with the Indica, as well. Perhaps that will help! :rasta: pr
