yellow splotches and tips

hey guys, how you can help. I transplanted a few clones into 2.5 quart pots last week. they seemed to be doing fine until a few days ago. noticed yellow splotches on one of the plants. now most of the tips are turning yellow.leaves are still dark green, but bottom leaves are a little brittle..thought i may be overwatering so i cut back. dont think its heat, lights arent close. havent used nutes yet..didnt want to do anything without more knowledge. help!
