I use mason jars. After i cut the plant it will get hung to dry. Time frame depends on your drying conditions. After the bud gets kinda crispy on the outside the stem should make a cracking noise (when bent) without snapping. From there i will put it in a paper bag for a couple days then jar. I use a humidity meter (Caliber III, ebay for around 20 bucks) that i place in the jar. If the humidty is over 65-70 you will have to burp the jar couple times a day depending on the humidity. Once it gets about 60% inside the jar you will have a proper cure without having to worry about mold.
