35 card fee
Did the card fee decrease go into effect already? I cant find any info on when the drop in price starts. I cant get a response from the CDPHE either on the subject.

The money grubbing CDPHE decided to put it off until all the renewals were done in sep, oct, and november so they could get the most money from the sick and dying of colorado. Gotta love our health department.

This is great news.
I just got a doc ref/renewal for $50 11/11/11 and will now wait 'till after New Years to send it into the health dept. for $35.
My first card lasted 18 months because of the initial 8 month backup. The doc ref was $150 and the health dept $90 for a total of $240.
Now, I'm only paying 35% of that total.
I'm one happy camper...
Glad I stopped by
Woot!
PS - Of course, the health dept fee change date is all unconfirmed...

35 card fee
I need to get a certified copy of my colorado Tax Return as I now qualify for the Fee Waiver/Tax-Exempt Status as the new forms are now posted. Of course to get a certified copy I need to send a notarized copy to the dept of revenue. But in the long run will save me $$$$.

Where exactly is the $35 fee referenced? I came from the state health site and didn't see anything. You'd think it would be in big bold red letters. So I d/l'ed the latest form...Still says $90.

That is because the fee change doesn't go into effect till 1/1/12. I am sure they will update the forms on January 1, but wouldn't expect it sooner.
they have updated the forms with the new indigent standard but not the new fee as it hasn't gone into effect.

What if you dont file taxes? Being SSDI is my only income they dont require us to file taxes. I havent filed taxes in 10 years. Would i have to file taxes to get the waiver? Getting a response from public health is not working. I just dont understand how they can just ignore emails like they do. I have never gotten one response from them.
