    This works...(for me atleast)

    Ok have you ever needed to save bud or just pace yourself or anything like that? Most of us had and so do i. Ok so right usually i smoke anywhere from 2g-4g a day but thats smoking like throughout the whole day.Well i deciede i needed to either not smoke as much or something. So heres what im doing(just started it today)
    Try not to smoke for the whole day and then smoke later at night. My outlook to keep me going at this is, the longer i wait the better that first bowl will be. And then after getting baked and not smoking as much i will be able to just go to sleep. Which means....I smoke less then i would if i smoked all day. Ok so maybe this wont work for everyone.... but yeah just thought id share.

    yeah i try that some days but usually just end up smoking when i wake up instead. haha

    indeed waitin til night to smoke is fun but hard but fun...lol im doing it now, im waiting for my friend to get back from my friends house to smoke some four way ooo and hes callin me

    penguin thats exactly what i used to TRY to do lol.Good work just see how long u can keep it up when theres a gram or 2 chopped and its just sitting there inviting you to smoke it lol.It takes 2 seconds to pack one into a bong lol too easy

    I've done this before just to cut back on cost. Between my husband and I we smoke an ounce a week, every week, all month long. Sometimes we just can't afford to smoke so much. We have done the nightly thing, we had tried the weekends only thing. We have totally stopped but it NEVER lasts. Just got to have the bud. You are right though, the longer you can go without it, the less it takes for you to get you high and the better the buzz. I have only found this to work if you take days off from smoking. I know when I only smoke once a day it's not quit the same as not smoking for a week or two. I'm not smoking right now b/c I'm trying to get a job that will require a drug test. Since I have failed a test for this company before I'm not going to risk it this time. This time, I will be clean and I will be clean from not smoking. Since they have no random testing policy after I get the job I can go back to smoking until my hearts content, and afford to do as much as I want whenever I want. I'm looking forward to that buzz, when it happens, I'll let you know how cool it is. Good luck man.

    If i gotta make a gram last a day i usualy just put out 2 hot knifes for my self and a friend. Takes those be faded and chill. Another hour or 2 passes smoke 2 more. Shit conserves pretty well

    I've found that the more inconvenient my bud is, the less I'm likely to smoke too much. When it sits in front of me, pre ground, with a box of papers next to it and a pipe on the other side, sometimes I have a hard time not smoking it... Okay, not sometimes, everytime.

    What? NOT smoking all day and all night... to CONSERVE weed? You might just be crazy enough to pull it off.

    Hey Penguin-

    Here's a good rule: Wait six hours after you wake up to blaze. I find that if I wake and bake all the time, it makes me into a slug/herb fiend. Give yourself some time to wake up in the morning.

    I used to have the same problem as you, so I bought a scale. This helps with portion control. I always weigh out 2 G's per day. If I smoke 2 g's before the day's over, then too bad. It's a good way to discipline yourself.

    Good luck, you don't wanna be smoking 4 grams a day for the rest of your life, bro.

    good tips! I usually wait for the night time smoke too, but lately I've been binging because I won't be able to smoke for my month-long vacation... So I'm stocking up on THC for now and hopefully I won't be jonesing too much in 2-3 weeks....
