PI - seems we are on just about the same schedule. I'm at day 49 tomorrow. I'm going to flush this week and push them for two more weeks with plain water. Hope I'm not starting too early. I need these to finish up. Gotta get the next round under the screen and get the new starts established so I can head out of town for a few week. I need it all dialed in before I leave so it's just water duty. Got to get my pee facts straight!

Damn we should finish around the same time. I still have no clue to when im gonna start flushing. They just are not filling out like they should. When i redid the grow room, i had to set the lights up different and i think it has alot to do with them not filling out. They used to be around 8" away from the girls and now they are over a foot away. Not too mention im wasting alot of light. Cant really finish it up til my shoulder is better. I think i will chop at day 70 regardless haha. So you going on vacation?

I'm having the opposite problem. My buds are pushing out pistils like no ones business. I figured they be slowing down by now but they just keep going. I'm concerned I'm flushing too soon. But travel looms and I have other under the hood that need to get to the flower room plus I need to get my pee facts started so I can leave them for a few weeks - here honey, just follow the schedule... so i'm hoping they finish out in two weeks!

How are your trichs looking? I havent even checked mine out yet. I will try to post a pic of mine come update time. I still havent got the hang of this microscope. Touchy little fucker haha.

Day 56. Fed for the last time last night. From here on out itll be just water with a little sledgehammer. I will cut on day 70. I usually will water my last time about 4 days before the cut. I let them get good and dried out. By the time these finish, all the fans leaves should be either yellow or pretty damn close to yellow. Thats if they are still attached to the plant haha. The trichs are mostly clear to cloudy. Well here's the weekly pics.

Rattlingdags, I was looking at the album you posted under your profile. I saw a bunch of stuff in common. I like the first picture. Do you supplement with LEDs? Just curious. I left a message in the album with some questions. Have a look and if interested respond there because I don't want to threadjack pushits post. Sorry pushit!

I actually have noticed a pretty good difference. My girlfriend agrees so its not just me haha. When this grow is complete i will do it again half and half. Two plants will be dried with fan leaves and all and the other two will be trimmed up nice and tight. Ive been messing around with these two drying methods since last summer. We have noticed that when they are dried with the fanleaves on, the bud as a lot better taste, smell, and its less harsh when smoking. I think it has a lot to deal with it taking longer to dry. They say the longer it takes to dry and cure the better it is and i believe they are right. But different strains, setups, etc could play a major factor. I would highly recommend giving it a try with 1 of your plants your next harvest. If you do, after you compare, please post your results here since this thread is almost done.

I think I'll try that too with a couple next time. I'd read the leaves on vs leaves off debate before and was curious as what you thought first hand. I tend to be in the middle and take off all the larger fans, leaving the smaller one's on. For me its more a matter of lack of space so I'll just try a few and see how it goes.
