Sweet Deep Grapefruit - Showing Defficiency or Stress
Three plants are going strong. One is a runt. Two are showing signs of distress or deficiency runt and one other but runt is the the worst of the two. They are only 3 weeks old so the FFOF should be buffered and nutes in soil should be sufficient. I gave them molasses 1 time. Other than that just straight water. Note that the hydrodon sits on top of the soil. It helps defeat insects, prevents the soil from be disrupted by water stream, and looks good...
I am wondering if they want a little feeding? I'm new to the FFOF soils so any help appreciated!

It looks to me like a little mag def. The reason i say this is cause the leaves are dark in the middle and get lighter towards the edge. This will happen if your phd water is 6.4 and lower. I use FFOF also and havent had any problems during veg so thats why im questioning the ph. If i remember right molasses will drop the ph? Try watering with 6.8 the next couple waterings and see if that helps. Im just guessing here so even if i am wrong raising the ph a little wont kill anything haha
Also, was the hydroton soaked in phd water before you put it on top of the pots?

Hey pushit, good to see that RH elevated you to moderator over at that other place. I recommended that to RH a few days before he booted me which of course was a few days after I completed the upgrade, something he could never have done by himself. Just to set the record straight, I never locked him out or tried to take control. I could have done that 3 weeks earlier when I was given full root access to the server. I could have walked away with it lock, stock and barrel. And I told him that he should never trust someone like that again b/c he could have lost it all.
There was a period of 10 hours when I was doing the upgrade during which the server was unreachable which freaked him out. I put security in place when I did the upgrade so that the server would be less vulnerable to hackers which also freaked him out. But I walked him through everything and I was available to him via email and skype but he chose to freak out instead. No, he just wanted me off the boat once I had done the work. Whatever. Just know that I could have taken the whole boat down and sent it back to where it came from - phpBBS or whatever crap it was. But I didn't do that, only out of respect for RT, DP GA, yourself, etc.. There are so many holes in that backend I could still walk right in and delete the whole ball of wax and walk away with his URL to boot. And I don't know dick so there are millions who could do the same... But you should know what you are dealing with. Sorry to threadjack ScrogDog!

Hey take that piss show somewhere else. I'm dealing with REAL issues here! No worries. Happy to play Helsinki where your two can talk in measured tones...
I've had a few others weigh in both here and elsewhere. The consensus seems to be raise the pH to 6.8 and lay off the molasses until later in flower. So that's the route I'm going to go, at least for the next week or two. I'm out of town anyway so they won't be getting any attention anyway. Hope they do OK with me gone!
Thanks everyone!

Would be issues if the pot was full of it. Even if you rinsed them. I like to soak and rinse them more than one time. You should be fine, though! There only decorations,SWEET!
