I personally think not... Better practice,would be to not give the mold a chance! Ventilation,ventilation and ventilation.. That is the best preventive medicine I could ever suggest.Thinks like saturated pots all the time as res. in the room. Moisture and humidity in general.Your gonna have more chance of it occurring during flower.Very BAD!

However,I have been around them and when they were being used it was in a hydroponic situaton, the mold was present at the time. Moisture all over the walls and floor,even drippin' from the ceiling. How dangerous is that? I was there to get the ventilation in order. He had it all fucked up too! Fans were too small and the ducting way large for his area. Never really pushed the air out it just raised pressure in the duct and back flowed into the room through the wye at the filter.No clue as to why the wye... Neither did he at the time!
