This is the same old argument I'd rather not bring up, but here goes... How would you liek to wake up to a mushroom cloud where New York used to be? Because that's a possibility! Wow what an ignorant comment. The people that actually MAKE the weapons are manufacturing workers, with no set party lines. Its not like the factories only hire republicans. If you think it is bad to have a military, look up the fates of countries in the past which have had weak militaries. Most not good.

Actually, the US is losing massive amounts of money. There are not many spoils of war from an impoverished, 3rd world country. I know you are saying,"but we're stealing thier oil!". Well then, why are our gas prices so high if we have heisted the innocent Iraquis?

Who is holding the money? The Iraqui people, who's country has had millions invested in it because the US got rid of thier tyrannical dictator who killed millions (4th biggest killer in history in case you didn't know)
