I like your view of things.

There certainly are a number of private caregivers (many used to post here, some still do) who oppose the 2012 initiative to regulate like alcohol, but not as widespread as in Cali.

It's going to come down to how many people get out and actually vote. Typical supporters of MJ are not the best when it comes to turnout (students) vs. its opponents (stodgy, old ideologues), but we'll just have to see how it plays out.

It's good that it's a presidential election year (definitely not accidental) as that will bring more voters out.
