    He was probably soaking it in distilled water before germination. and yes you should use a new seed if it sank, cuz that means its waterlogged. Remeber just soak them for 24 hours.

    i soaked some seeds for a little more than 24 and they sank and a day later in a paper towel a tiny sprout begane to come out of 1
    3KW indoor grow coming soon..(75 WHITE RUSSIAN PLANTS)
