Urine Test questions

So here is my situation. I have smoked basically for the past ten years. Never extreme amounts but usually on a daily basis. So recently for a job interview I quit for about 2.5 months and then was expecting to get their final decision. At that point I took a At home test purchased from walgreens and tested negative. No word from the employer all weekend. Monday came around and I called too see if they had made their decision. No answer. So I took that as being a no on getting the job and then starting smoking a few times that week. I smoked for 4 days a few times each day. I would say a total of less than 1.5 grams. Then the following week I got a phone call from them offering the position. GREAT I thought. So I haven't smoked since then. That gave me basically 16 days until I took a urine test at Labcorp. I have never taken a drug test before and thought it was weird how they divided my urine into two test tubes and left the remainder in the cup. Is this normal? I have a very high metabolism and have basically no body fat at all. During the 16 days I drank plenty of water and worked out about 5 times followed by sitting in the steam room for 30 minutes following. I wished I would have known of this website beforehand. How do you think I fared? The day of the test I didn't go crazy with the diluting, but did urinated 3 times prior to going in. I live in a remote part of new york so I had to drive pretty far to get there. I had taken another at home test about 5 days before the real test and it showed a faint negative? Its been a day since I took the test and haven't heard anything back.

Yes, the split sample is normal.The second sample is held in case you decide to challenge the test result of the first sample being tested.

It's hard to say how you fared in this situation, nobody here can give you an accurate answer to that. Did you use the first void of the day when you took your home test?

No it was not the first void of the day. At the time I was not hydrating that much and it came out very dark yellow. With this type of test are they testing at the 50 n/g level or 15?

Those are standard cutoff levels for a pre-employment drug screen, but its hard to say what you got. Did you get any paper work at all?

All it said was the test number which was 799452. I wasn't to worried about passing before I started reading the forums on here.

I went 2.5 months clean at first, maybe even longer. I just smoked 1.5 grams 16 days ago.

Thanks man, I def will. I feel good about it considering I was clean before I started smoking again and how little I actually smoked 16 days prior to testing.

I smoked everyday all day when I was younger, then I got caught and was given probation with random drug testing.
My first drug test I took I was around 10-14 days clean and I passed. My PO said, "okay you're now clean and if it comes up
positive from here forward you're going back to jail." I know everyones body is different but I would think you'll be fine
and will pass.
