Best bulbs MH and HPS digital ballast

After several grows using cheapish bulbs I think its time for a change but not sure whats even out there in terms of a good 600w MH and HPS.

Just found out that all the cool kids seem to be using ceramic metal halide's but this is not an option right now as I just purchased a digital ballast (before reading about ceramic's, typical me)

My current lighting patterns in a grow is veg with the MH(20 hours per day) and flower with the HPS(12 hours per day), Im not entirely happy with the lenght of time it takes for each harvest and having done my homework im blaming the lighting

So whats good?

Hortilux and Ushio are considered top grade lamps.

Ushio is probably better for digitals.
